Doug articled at a major national law firm prior to working for over fifteen years at one of Calgary’s premier business law boutiques including serving for over 8 years as the managing partner. In addition, he has been a director or officer of several public and private companies. This experience provides Doug with business insight and acumen that allows him to provide legal services in a practical and straightforward manner to business owners and business executives.

Doug is called to the Bar in both Alberta and Ontario and is adept at handling mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, strategic planning, venture capital and private equity and has worked on financing and merger and acquisition transactions worth over $2 billion in total.
