Description

The E-2 treaty investor nonimmigrant visa program permits Canadian citizens and companies, who have made a “substantial investment” in a new or existing US enterprise, to live and work in the US on a part-time or full-time basis. The E-2 has many other advantages, including work authorization for the E-2 visa holder’s spouse; complete pivotability of the type and scale of business over time; and the ability to sponsor other Canadian citizens to work with your E-2 enterprise in the US.

Topics discussed in the webinar include:

  • What is the E-2 treaty investor nonimmigrant visa program and what are the benefits?
  • What are the immigration eligibility requirements to utilize the E-2 treaty investor nonimmigrant visa program?
  • Are there any Canadian-specific tax considerations for those obtaining the E-2 treaty investor visa?
Join us virtually to learn what an E-2 can do for you, as well as associated tax planning.
